Big THANKS to Karin who -one of her gifts to Grace was using her time and HUGE talent to make Grace’s Room Beautiful. Karin did the very fancy window treatment, designed and built the pillows, re-upholstered the chair and automan, made the crib skirt …and the list goes on and on.
Karin, you are so generous and so talented, we can’t thank you enough. Grace’s room is the nicest room in the house and it is where everyone wants to spend their time.

September was a great month, with lots of growing up.
There is actually a story that needs to be told here …and it goes like this:
Dad is a big fan of Greg London. He’s seen the show about 18times. Anytime friends come to town: Dad says “-C’mon, we’re all going to see Greg London!!” Mom likes Greg’s show too, but not quite as much as Dad. The constant joke at the house is Mom telling Grace: “Greg is going to get a restraining order against your dad, he goes to the show way too often.”
So today Dad and Grace were out-n-about and mom calls and says:? Greg London is at Tahoe Burger (grand opening). …Of course Dad and Grace head straight there.
No surprise: Greg was a fun, sincere and wonderful host. Greg and Grace spent some great time together. And that’s not all, Greg gave Grace 4 tickets to see his Icon Man show, and she was also given a very nice toy, -compliments of Tahoe Burger.
What a fun adventure -And when you’re in Reno, it doesn’t get any better than seeing Greg London’s show! Of course you’ll want to fit a Tahoe Burger in your agenda as well.
There may be updates to the pictures here, as we plan to beg, buy or steal a picture or two from Joshua of Enchanted Memories Photography who was taking professional pictures at this event -and we know he got some good ones of Grace and Greg!
Just a couple of weeks ago Grace was at the doctor for rotavirus. That was no fun but she’s over that now time for her 6month routine check-up. No surprise she passed with flying colors (yet again) ..and again she’s proven that she’s no heavyweight. Still tracking well, she’s doubled her weight since birth, but her weight is in the 10percentile.
This appointment was the last round of immunization shots for a while, no doubt Grace thinks that is good news.

Grace was doing “OK” with the stage 1 baby food, and we just now are switching to stage 2. We’re hopeful that she’ll take to it a bit better. ? On this morning, Dad and Grace were trying “Oatmeal/Applesauce”

Ruth and Cindy landscaped their back yard and it is beautiful! Grace went to check it out and had some good time in the water. She also got to meet Jory, who is a few months younger.

Grace has been the over-achiever in most all areas -but now at six months she had not yet rolled over. We kept waiting and even the King Of Fernley has been asking: “Has Grace Rolled Over Yet?” (he’s been asking since she was just a few weeks old 🙂 )
Today Kathy was helping grace, trying to help/show her how to get from back-to-tummy …and Grace would get close, but not quite do it. Then we put her on her tummy and for the first time she rolled over all by herself!!!
We were lucky enough to get it on video —very exciting stuff today, time for a celebration!

Well after 6months of stellar health, without hardly a sneeze:? Grace got a virus that was causing discomfort plus vomiting and diarrhea. Surely no fun for anyone, and for a tiny, little girl who didn’t know what was going on -it was very tough for her parents to witness.
Eventually dad took Grace to the doctor, her first time to see Dr. Columbo for other than a routine check up. ? Grace has a big “crush” on Dr. Columbo so we made sure she looked her best, even though she was not feeling her best.
The diagnosis was Rotavirus and we are switching formula, and have some help for the vomiting. But really this virus just needs to run it’s course so we’ll be keeping Grace as comfortable as possible and doing all necessary to keep her from getting dehydrated.

Well it certainly was a fun month. Grace now has four teeth -all on the bottom. A big baptism and becoming more and more aware of her surroundings. And as you see, it seems that pictures show her growing and growing.
Today Grace and Mom went to Kris’ house to enjoy the pool. Well, Grace certainly took a liking to the water and here is a very fun video of Grace and Barbara sharing water fun! GREAT to see Grace enjoying the water so much.
