Religious education class and great timing to recite a prayer as Grandma Jo and Grandpa Phil were visiting.
Grace good friend McCalla is in her religion class, and also in her first grade class at Van Gorder Elementary. …They were hamming it up for the camera before class.
After the recital Grace shared a few words with her priest ..who commented that she sleeps like an angel -obviously a comment from a few days ago when Grace fell asleep in Church.

Grace is growing up too fast. Recently we took a picture of Grace at Legends. Later, here on the blog, I came across an old picture which was taken at the same setting. This picture was taken approx 15months earlier. It is absolutely amazing the difference –>and it has seemingly happened at the blink of an eye.
It prompted us to go look at older posts/pictures and we became a bit nostalgic as we surfed through the blog and viewed many of the old posts.
So, we have added a new functionality to the blog, you will see it to the right, (under the calendar). It is a random post generator and every time the blog is loaded in your browser: The title to three random posts (any posts prior to the last 6months) will appear. You can click on any of these to bring up the full post. It is quite fun
……and amazing how fast this little girl is growing up.
Grace had a wonderful first birthday ….Friends, family and lots of silliness.

Graces Birthday Is Today ….and while we’re not having the “party’ until next weekend, we decided to give Grace her big present
Dad wanted to get Grace a wagon, every kid needs a red wagon. But we couldn’t find any we liked, they all seem so ‘cheap’ and most are plastic. Then mom stumbled across an industrial type (Lawn & Garden) type cart at Costco …and with some red paint, we gave Grace a very macho red wagon

We signed Grace up for a painting class at the Reno Museum Of Art. Ohhh-boy, was it some good fun.
Very Exciting …after lots of trying, scooting and ‘kinda crawling’ -Grace is now certified as a real crawling machine! Take a look …and we plan to keep the videos coming!
Mom has had to cover at the hospital and Dad and Grace have used the time to take a lot of pictures ….and, Grace did a great video for us as well: This was really a great weekend, please check out the pictures linked below
Well, another month of “Too Many Pictures” ….but they make for some good fun
We took a few days and went down to see Uncle Brian in Las Vegas. It was a wonderful trip and Grace was in heaven with the attention and love from Uncle Brian ….not to mention Vegas has what Grace loves the most:? Abundant people watching!
In spite of yet more teeth continuing to come in, Grace’s appetite and palette keep growing. Grace will often eat considerable amounts during a sitting, and in the last weeks has really broadened her palette. Some new favorites:
+Beef, as in ground beef and small chunks of assorted steak and such. +Chicken ..as in small chunks of chicken breast. +Scrambled Eggs, Grace loves these +Avocado, yep, Graces Loves Avocado. And cheese continues to be a big favorite, as well as crackers, peas, corn and yogurt.
While still no shortage of silliness, Grace is often very serious. She also is very nosy and has to know what everyone is doing …irregardless of if she knows the person and irregardless of where we are.

Grace received a beautiful hand-made sweater and hat -Doris made these for Grace and they are beautiful.
We took a few pictures and we’re all sure that there will be plenty of good fun with this sweater forthcoming!
