The last few days, Grace has been doing pretty good on her new found skill:? smiling. Sometimes little ones, sometimes medium-big ones …very hard to catch on camera but Mom did a good job here taking this video while Grace was in her car seat. A little while later you can see some good fun on the playmat -with smiles, noises and some nice aerobics!
A night out for Mom and Dad …and Barb and Kris stay with the mayor
Dad and Mom finally got a chance to get out for Mom’s birthday ….and Kris and Barbara came over to watch Grace for the night. Mom and Dad had a great dinner and some Nevada style fun -meanwhile the mayor, Kris and Barbara had fun of their own at the all night slumber party.

Picnic and the Sierras
Kathy packed a picnic lunch, and then Mom and Grace met dad at work where we went across the street to the park and had a picnic. Afterward, we took a little trip up to the Sierra Nevada’s.

Time For A Fashion Show!!
Grace has been given sooo many wonderful clothes. But a few really stand out and they include:
-A handmade sweater and matching hat, made especially for Grace -and perfect for St. Patrick’s Day. Thank You so much Doris, you are really something with those knitting needles.

5 Week Doctor Visit!
Well, the A+ grades from the doctor are getting to be a regular thing. Today was a great check-up and we had lots to talk to the doctor about …some changes in formula, a mild case of reflux and a tad of help getting the poops a bit more regular. May sound like a lot, but not really, all very minor and she’s doing great!
Best of all, she is really putting on the weight!? 8lbs 8oz today …that is 1lb and 9oz more than when she was born. Exciting for sure!? But, also a tad sad to see our little peanut grow up so fast 🙂

April 14th and SNOW
Well apparently the Global Warming fools didn’t tell mother nature …
After some wonderful spring-time weather here in Reno ..Today April 14th we’re getting some nice snow!? Grace’s first time feeling the snowflakes land on her chubby little face …and honestly, she wasn’t sure what to make of it!
Easter
We purposely made no big plans for Easter weekend. Instead relaxed and just spent nice time. That was the best because Grace is too young to appreciate any fancy Easter functions. This turned out to be a very nice weekend.

April -Things are happening so fast.
Grace turned 4weeks old ….then 5weeks old. Things are happening so fast and hard to keep up. Wonderful little girl, but fussy some of the time. We can’t believe how fast our little peanut is growing up.

Uncle Brian Comes To Visit -Spring Break

Spring was here and Mom and Dad got a bit overzealous —
Took Grace out for some sunbathing where she got 3rd-degree sunburn on her face -everything except where her hat protected her delicate skin.
Please, we’re begging family and friends to not call Child Protective Services, as they’ll surely take our baby away!!
