Grace and mom really out-did themselves. First they built a leprechaun trap …and baited it Guiness beer. Then this morning a great St Patrick’s Day outfit.

S.T.E.M. Night Van Gorder
Van Gorder put on an exhibition of art work from all classrooms as well as live projects. Add a book fair to the mix and it made for a great evening at Van Gorder Elementary.
Grace and Dad were two of the first people there! Uhhh, and by a long ways were the last ones out the door, more than a full evening.
Saw many teachers and friends, including Mrs. Kattelman, Mrs. Axley, and Mrs. Evers. Bought some 2nd Grade art work created by Grace Austin and also bought three great books at the book fair. …Last ones out the door and when Grace got home she started to read one of her books.

After a week of no before school program …Today was up at the crack of dawn, getting dressed and lunch made by herself. Then the Starbucks tradition for a job well done on the way to school.
Great Family Weekend …Tahoe
Great weekend mini-vacation road-trip in our local area. Saturday morning up to Lake Tahoe with lots of fun. Then some exploring including Kirkwood meadows. Then dropped down into Minden where we stayed at CVI and Grace did lots of swimming Saturday night and Sunday morning. Then more good food and a detour through Virginia City. Back home Sunday evening, a great weekend. Pictures Below, Video Coming Soon

Awesome Hair by Dad ..day4
For the 4th Day in a row, Dad and Grace were up very early getting ready for the day and out of the house by 6:30am. Grace is leading, getting up by herself, dressing herself and even making her own lunch. Today was day three of treating ourselves to Starbucks on the way to before-school-program.
