We went to In-N-Out Burger and Grace had her first ever French Fry (and yes, we got a bit carried away with the camera inside the restaurant).

Thanksgiving
Thanksgiving was very simple. We cooked a nice fresh Turkey compliments of Grandma Rose -and Brian came up to visit for a few days.

Grace and Dad decided to have a little dance party.
Lately we’ve noticed Grace will sometimes put on some special “moves” when she hears music ….so we put her in front of the stereo and? I played various music in hopes that she’d put on? a show. ? Kinda funny.

Trip To Apple Hill (back roads between Camino and Pollock Pines CA) …so a ride through the Sierras ….Grace got car-sick and never really got into a full-swing of the day -But a fantastic day nonetheless!

Grace’s Room “Thanks Karin”
Big THANKS to Karin who -one of her gifts to Grace was using her time and HUGE talent to make Grace’s Room Beautiful. Karin did the very fancy window treatment, designed and built the pillows, re-upholstered the chair and automan, made the crib skirt …and the list goes on and on.
Karin, you are so generous and so talented, we can’t thank you enough. Grace’s room is the nicest room in the house and it is where everyone wants to spend their time.

Another Great Doctor Visit –6month Routine Check-up
Just a couple of weeks ago Grace was at the doctor for rotavirus. That was no fun but she’s over that now time for her 6month routine check-up. No surprise she passed with flying colors (yet again) ..and again she’s proven that she’s no heavyweight. Still tracking well, she’s doubled her weight since birth, but her weight is in the 10percentile.
This appointment was the last round of immunization shots for a while, no doubt Grace thinks that is good news.

Grace Rolls Over For The First Time
Grace has been the over-achiever in most all areas -but now at six months she had not yet rolled over. We kept waiting and even the King Of Fernley has been asking: “Has Grace Rolled Over Yet?” (he’s been asking since she was just a few weeks old 🙂 )
Today Kathy was helping grace, trying to help/show her how to get from back-to-tummy …and Grace would get close, but not quite do it. Then we put her on her tummy and for the first time she rolled over all by herself!!!
We were lucky enough to get it on video —very exciting stuff today, time for a celebration!
