Grace is on a mission. …To be the first one to “Before School Care” on the days that she goes.
Today she was up before 6am ….coaching dad on how to get out of the house early. ….Uhhh, Isn’t it supposed to be the other way around?
Arrived before they opened. Grace proud of being there early …as we helped the counselors set up.

Fantastic Report Card
Today reports cards were released, for 3rd quarter. We’re all so proud of Grace, she’s doing GREAT!
and she has not missed a single day of school so far this year!! Amazing. Aprox 125’ish straight days so far. If she can make it the whole year without missing a day, there is going to be a big celebration.
Congratulations Grace Moore Austin, you are Awesome!! We love you and are so proud of you!
Ding ding ding
Grace rings the bell at swimming lessons tonight. = advance 1 level!!. Great job Grace, we’re all so proud!

Starbucks before school
What a life. Grace woke up early (5:30a’ish) hence, ready for school early …..so, time for stop at Starbucks and pumpkin bread + double chocolate chip frapaccino on the way to school.
Now we’ll review spelling words and then be the first to before school program which opens at 7a.
Thursdays are a long day for Grace, but we’re off to a good start.
Wed. eve bike ride to dinner….
Big day today ….first school, then after school care …and finally home. And then Grace says … “can we go on a bike ride to Raley’s for dinnner?”
Heck, why not. Grace ordered the chicken dinner with mac-n-cheese, mashed potatoes, gravy and dinner roll. ….Now doing patio dining overlooking the parking lot. Great spring weather.
Next up: Time with Zoey and then homework.
Grace & Rylie Do Reno!
Grace & Rylie spent a fun and active day. The events went like this:
* Late breakfast at Hash House A-Go-Go
* Climbing and fun at Whitney Peak
* Fun and show at the Planetarium at UNR
* Zoey play and fun at San Rafael Park
* Dinner at Famous Dave’s
* Fancy Dessert at Cheesecake Factory.
* Last stop: Made sure the sign that Grace and Rylie put up is still there.

Worked up a big appetite today with bike rides, dog washing and church. Here is another Saturday night dad+Grace fun dinner creation. Home made BBQ pork open faced sandwich + mac-n-cheese.

Bike ride
Bike ride to Golden Eagle Park. Grace’s bike computer says 2.59 miles so far and a top speed of 14.2 MPH. Last time we came here we got kicked out for having Zoey with us. This time told no bikes. LOL. With no dogs or bikes allowed we won’t be making this our destination in the future.
Post Championship Celebration -Grace Style
It was late when we got out of the Wolfpack game and we had a long discussion in the car on where to go to eat. Grace knows all the good spots, and isn’t just known in the gourmet steak houses in town, she’s known everywhere including the truck stops! Here we are at WV coffee shop …sitting at the counter of course! Grace had Tri-tip with gravy, mushrooms, baked potato, corn, bread and of course finished it all off with ice cream. nearly 11pm by the time we finished up!! OH MY, what a way to celebrate a Wolfpack win!
