Kathy spent Saturday night up at Lake Tahoe with Kris and Barbara -So it was just Grace and Dad! We decided to document our time with video so mom could see what she missed!

First Night In Her Own Room
Last night grace had a major milestone. No more sleeping in the little crib in mom and dad’s room. Instead, now in the big crib in her own room.
The first night went very well, Grace slept great, in fact slept through the night and well into the next morning! Here she is when mom came to welcome her to a new day! (video below)
Grace Takes Her First Road-Trip ~Visit Grandma Jo & Grandpa Phil In Oregon~
On the weekend of her 3month birthday, Grace would take her first road trip. We’d be going to see Grandma Jo and Grandpa Phil in Oregon.

Conversation With Dad
Grace is starting to ‘coo’ more and more ….and it is good fun when she does. These coo’s are almost always accompanied with smiles. It is hard to catch these coo’s and smiles on camera because she typically gets so curious about the camera that everything else stops.
She’s most active with the ‘coo-ing’ when she first wakes up in the morning, or after a good nap. Beacuase she’s not much of a napper, the latter is rare …but this video captures some of the best that we’ve been able to catch on camera. Not bad, next week Grace will be 3months old!

Mom & Grace -Getting Familiar With The Big Crib
Grace has been sleeping in a small crib in Mom & Dad’s room. But soon she’ll be spending her nights in her own room, in her fancy big crib. Kathy and Grace have been spending some time getting familiar with the new environment!

Grace’s First Pool Party!
Grace spent the day with her mom at a pool-party at Kris’ house. Good fun for all and Grace seemed to get all the attention and we know she loves attention. Seems she may also take after her mom and love the water.

Yet another A+ Doctor Visit (and a social visit to mom’s work)
Grace got another outstanding grade on her checkup! Mom and Dad were positive that grace would be in the double-digits on weight? …but NO!! Only 9.5lbs!! Still our little peanut. Everything continues to track very well!!
This visit was also time for a few immunization shots. No fun, but Grace did well.

Grandma Jo and Grandpa Phil Visit

Grace finds her voice
Grace and Mom having dialogue …well Mom thinks so anyway. We think Grace is finding her voice and while never as good when the camera is going ….these conversations are good fun!
Trying to smile, and fun with new skills
The last few days, Grace has been doing pretty good on her new found skill:? smiling. Sometimes little ones, sometimes medium-big ones …very hard to catch on camera but Mom did a good job here taking this video while Grace was in her car seat. A little while later you can see some good fun on the playmat -with smiles, noises and some nice aerobics!
